SBI Recruitment 2021

State Bank of India (SBI) has issued a recruitment notification regarding the recruitment of a total of 6,100 Apprentice posts under the Apprentice Act 1961. The candidates who found them eligible as per the official notification of State Bank of India, can submit their online application on the official portal of SBI. More information is given below.

SBI Recruitment Details

Name of Post: Apprentice

Total Posts: 6,100 Posts

  • Assam: 250 Posts

Educational Qualification: Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by Central Government as on 31st October 2020.

Duration of Training: Duration of training is of one year.

Age Limit: The age of the candidate should be between 20 years to 28 years by 31st October 2020. Also, candidates must have been born not earlier than 1st November 1992 and not later than 31st October 2000 (both days inclusive). Stipend/ Benefit: The apprentices are eligible for stipend of Rs.15000/- per month. The apprentices are not eligible for any other allowances/ benefits.

Application Fee: For this recruitment, the candidate has to pay the amount in the form of application fee. Candidates are able to pay their application fee through online mode. The category wise applicable fee details are given below.

  • SC/ST/PWD: Nil (Exempted from fee).
  • Others: Rs.300/- (Rupees Three hundred Fifty only)

Selection Procedure of SBI Recruitment

The selection process will include online written test (preliminary) and test of local language.

Online Written Test: Online Preliminary Exam consisting of Objective Tests for 100 marks will be conducted online. This test would be of 1 hour duration consisting of 4 topics as follows:

Each test will have a separate timing as mentioned above. There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests. 1/4th of mark assigned for question will be deducted for each wrong answer. No minimum qualifying marks are prescribed for individual test OR for aggregate score.

Test of Local Language: The specified local languages of the states are as mentioned in Para A of the advertisement. The candidates applying for vacancies of a particular state, should be proficient (reading, writing, speaking and understanding) in any one of the specified local language of that State as mentioned in Para A of the advertisement. The test for knowledge of specified opted local language will be conducted as a part of selection process. It will be conducted after qualifying the online written examination. Candidates who fail to qualify this test will not be engaged for apprentice. Candidates who produce 10th or 12th standard mark sheet/ certificate evidencing having studied the specified opted local language will not be required to undergo the language test. Candidates will have to appear for the test of specified opted local language at a centre (to be decided by the Bank) of the State applied for, at his/her own expenses.
